WOW!! 2010!! Welcome New Year!
I can not believe that this is the beginning of a new year, 2009 was a wonderful year for my family, although many trials we faced, God brought us through with many things to look back on.  We began a new ministry at Enon Baptist Church, and God has blessed in so many ways, he placed us exactly where he wanted us and we have just fit right in. We have seen quiet a few people come to know Christ and many new faces have joined fellowship with us.  The girls have really adapted and Scott has been busy as ever ministering to the members and the community.  We have been planning the church marriage retreat, and it is set for the end of February and we are so excited about it, we have 17 couples who are committed to going and our new church directory pictures will be in a couple of weeks.  Can't wait for what is in store for our church in 2010!!

2009 brought sadness to my family with the passing of my Godmother in October and my Aunt Jack on Dec. 18.  We have truly missed them.

Scott and I are praying for what we should do about our house and if we should move into the church parsonage.  We are still praying, everyone is so down on the fact that we wouldn't have our own home and that the market is so terrible right now, well I know a man who can do anything and I have faith that whatever we decide that he can do anything and besides a house is a house but a home is what you make it.  It has taken me a long time to realize that material things doesn't matter anymore, we all love nice things but as long as i am obedient to God, he will provide a roof and the neccessities that we all need.  With God all things are possible! Matt 19:26

I pray that this year will be as much of a blessing for you as I am expecting!! It is a chance for us to put all old things behind us and look ahead to the new things.  Shake off all the old bad habits and begin new ones for we only are promised today, only God knows what tomorrow holds.
